Pencil drawings of pets and other animals
Pets are an important part of a family. A pencil drawing of a favorite pet is a special gift for Christmas, birthday or other occasions.
I have done several pencil drawings of pets. You can see them by clicking on the picture to the right or above on the link marked "Animals".
Pencil drawings of eyes
One Christmas I decided to do something different for our children and grandchildren. Rather than drawing portraits of them I drew just their eyes. You can see everyone's personality through their eyes.
When drawing a portrait of a person you must get the eyes drawn right, or it will not look like them.
If you are interested in learning how to draw pencil portraits, there are some very helpful tutorials available on the web. I have learned a lot from the books written by
Lee Hammond. I have used several of her books and found them very helpful.
